The manner in which we seat ourselves in a subway car, or stand along the bank of a river, or shape our digital presence, all of these can be thought of as an expression of the soul’s (or Psyche’s) posture.

These accumulated bits of code are just that.

I enjoy the art of blogging and the fiddling with the many tools that extend the potential of online relationship.  The particular practice within this space, to create short reflections or meditations in image (I make each image used on this domain) and word that get extended through the links within each post, was developed is my first blogging effort at Catskill Cottage Seed.  You might consider them “plays” if you embrace that word in the spirit it was employed by Gertrude Stein.  Over time I see my practice in the digital space has simplified while extending it’s roots through annotations, links, and metadata.

Richard is the 77,438,378,544th person born in history and currently works as the Director of Development at The Family Foundation School, a therapeutic boarding school.  He is also a candidate at the C.G. Jung Institute of New York where he is training to become a psychoanalyst.  He enjoys rural living with his wife Judith and two children in the Catskill Mountains of New York.
