An Ominous Number


The busting forth of the forest was particularly vivid this year with the low tememperatures keeping everything in check a good two weeks past the norm.  And in the sudden shift, the power of nature was palpable.

Considering the planet, much like the psyche, as a self-regulating system, I can only hope there are unexpected gentle means whereby the effects of our demands can get tempered, but I doubt it.  Super storms with devastating winds and raging waters, are but mild correctives when looked at from a global perspective.  As the link above attests, carbon dioxide passes 400 parts per million and rising…
