The Complexes: Offerings and Surrender


The perplexity of simplicity, where our rational machinations get foaled up with the gunk of distrust if not full blown paranoia, this dynamic brings us to the battleground of our unconscious complexes. 

Jung taught and experience bears out that we do not have complexes, the complexes have us. When during the analytic process we manage to consciously ‘suffer’ the complex, and only offering and surrender have revealed themselves as the authentic postures that fully engage this mystery, the effect is tranfigurational.

(And yes, I recognize the fullness of this claim…)
